Static Subset

File type abbreviation: stat

The static subset category contains variables extracted from the raw wrfout files that do not change in time, such as the terrain height and map-scale factors. A static file is provided for each output time, but the contents are identical across times. So, users only need to download one per simulation since other times are redundant.
